Yon books!

Yay(x12) for I possessth yon tomes!! I hath traveled to yon Centro Boliviano Americano and checked out 2 of them: yon Confederacy of Dunces and yon Twentieth Century American Poetry. You may inform Ms. Stollings that I am reading yon Wasteland. For fun. (Also inquire about the state of yon mutant rudabega, if you will.)

Hrm...what else. Oh, someone tell Lane that I heard the Gasolina song on the radio yesterday, and that hs interpretation of it is more or less accurate.

Oh! Guess who got the day off from school yesterday due to Political Protest? I did! ^^ Tell me that isn`t way cooler than snow. Alas for it is not as frequent as yon snow day in Boone. Curses.

Besides Meg, every person I have met thus far in this country seems obsessed with me having a boyfriend. In fact, I had the following conversation with yon Korean-Bolivian girl whilst showing her yon pictures. (Translated from Spanish)

Yo: -and this is Simon.

Ella: Is he your boy?

Yo: (aware of intense homophobia in Bolivia and being tactful) ...he is a boy...

Ella: Yes, but is he your boy?

Yo: (giving up) He is gay.

Ella: (big long pause) Does his mother know?

Yo: Yes.

Ella: (other big long pause) Well, I guess that`s okay then.

`Twould have been amusing except for the fact that it wasn`t. And I CANNOT have a Bolivian boyfriend, Meg, because of my previously mentioned deep and abiding HATRED of all males over the age of seven. Except that Angelo kid in my class, and that`s only because my English teacher is a raving lunatic. And the computer guy because if I hated him I`d have to boycott the internet.

Um... yeah. Bolivians. Um.
Sorry, what? Oh, right...
Wasteland=qwah? I started reading Six Degrees of Separation during math and I finished House of the Scorpion. 'Twas good I liked it.
Ooh. Well, we got out of school twenty minutes early today, and then Edward and I ran around like madwomen outside on the track in the snow BEING HARDCORE UNLIKE LENA during practice. ^_^
Besides me what? That doesn't make sense. You didn't meet me in Bolivia, and besides... I've changed my mind about you having a boyfriend. Alas for there will be no Aragorn+Arwenesque snog scenes in your near future. T_T And I'd be jealous of yon scene anyway...
That's cause we're, like, teenage girls. Mind = boys, school, boys, clothes, boys, hating math, boys, and, um, other boys.
Angelo kid? Catrey, a plot!

Angelo kid! A plot indeed, Merg! Huzzah! ^.^;

Ushi missed much excitement at school today.. got out 20 minutes early as Merg said which was USELESS and the stupid busses weren't ever there early at ALL so what was the POINT I ask you?.. And someone pulled the stupid fire alarm during third block so we had to stand outside in the cold while it was snowing and be cold and have our lunches disrupted, etc. Merg must have been very cold in her uber spiffy chacha skirt. Oh, and Clemson lost to UNC 81-88.

Also, since we had a 1-hour delay and the stupid fire alarm and then the get-out-earlyness TOO, we didn't share in Creative Writing today, which is a shame because I'd written a sequal to Sarcasmo and it was really amusing, I think. So we didn't get to read the uber spiffy Ushi share. Alas.

It was rather cold. But we were going to have a vocab quiz so I had extra studying time.
OMG, I dreamed that I was getting back all my vocab quizzes and they had like 42s and 26s on them, and I was like, wtf, I can't fail in VOCAB cause it's SO easy, and then Tom Simon was flying around throwing miniature babies at me, and laughing saying 'haha you suck' and I was crying and Duck was like, don't worry Meg I'll help you study, andandand it was really sad. And I woke up, but that's cause of the alarm clock going off (I didn't turn it on though...).

My alarm clock is officially Satan. I did NOT turn it on last night(/this morning, it was lateish), but once again, it woke me with its insistent BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP at 6.00. I think I need like a new one. A BETTER one. A RADIO alarm clock. Cause they play music.
